In the lead-up to UHC Day 2020 (“Health for All: Protect Everyone”), CSEM is highlighting how member organizations are contributing to ensure that the COVID-19 response protects everyone and keeping momentum going for universal health coverage (UHC) amid the crisis.

See the stories here!

Civil society organizations have been actively engaged in their communities, providing critical services at the frontline and protecting those bearing the brunt of the pandemic. CSOs have been resilient and creative in responding to the challenges of COVID-19 and related lockdowns and disruptions, often without any institutional support and all while continuing the fight for universal health coverage. Let us learn from each other about the roles civil society can play in supporting our communities and building strong health systems for UHC.

More stories will be added through the week of Dec 7 to 12. Join the global campaign for UHC Day!

In the lead-up to UHC Day 2020 (“Health for All: Protect Everyone”), CSEM is highlighting how member organizations are contributing to ensure that the COVID-19 response protects everyone and keeping momentum going for universal health coverage (UHC) amid the crisis. CSOs working toward UHC and engaged in the pandemic response are invited to submit their stories until 30 November 2020.

How to enter:

Submit photos (max. 3) and a story (max. 200 words) highlighting the work your organization is doing to #ProtectEveryone in the COVID-19 response and recovery, as well as on the road to universal health coverage. Consider: What was the gap you were addressing? What was challenging and what worked in your approach? How should these interventions be sustained beyond the pandemic?

Please submit via Google Form or email your entries to csem@msh.org. [Closed 30 November 2020]

We want to hear stories about your work within and beyond the COVID-19 pandemic response to advance Health for All. Submissions will be published here on www.csemonline.net and showcased on the global UHC Day microsite, www.universalhealthcoverageday.org. Winners will receive UHC Day and CSEM merchandise by mail.
