CSEM and PSC event: Roundtable and live stream
7 April 2020 | 13:00-14:30 CEST/07:00-08:30 EST/19:00-20:30 SGT
The Partnering for UHC Roundtable Series returns with a second edition, on the occasion of the World Health Day 2021 and the theme of achieving equity in health.
This special series is a part of a larger collaboration between the UHC2030 Civil Society Engagement Mechanism (CSEM) and the UHC2030 Private Sector Constituency (PSC) to discuss the successes, challenges and opportunities for multi-stakeholder partnerships in the context of achieving universal health coverage (UHC). How do civil society and the private sector interact and collaborate in the work to strengthen health systems for UHC? How can these partnerships better support the building blocks of health equity, including investments in community health and the health workforce? What can governments, civil society and the private sector learn from current multi-stakeholder partnerships for health?
Co-organised together with the World Bank PSC and UHC2030 Secretariats, this second inter-constituency roundtable will see the participation of representatives from the two constituencies to discuss the preliminary results of the UHC2030 Rapid Response Survey on Civil Society and Private Sector Collaboration for UHC and hear from members about their initiatives and tangible examples of partnerships for UHC from around the world.
