On 24 August 2023, the WHO launched the first WHO Civil Society Commission with the holding of its first Steering Committee meeting.
This milestones takes the cooperation between CSOs and the WHO to a new level, by structuring and institutionalizing the participation of civil society advocates in the establishment of WHO health priorities.
The CSEM Secretariat extends its warmest congratulations to all #UHC civil society advocates & partners who have been selected as members of the #WHOCSOCommission Steering Committee, and especially to current and former CSEM Advisory group members:
