Join us for a civil society discussion on the outcomes of the UN High-Level Meeting on UHC (HLM) and a strategy session on coordinating post-HLM advocacy to ensure #healthforall.

On the margins of the HLM on UHC, the Civil Society Engagement Mechanism (CSEM) for UHC2030, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), and the Global Health Council (GHC) will convene civil society and community members committed to advancing UHC for a post-HLM debrief and strategy session. The session aims to leverage the presence of UHC advocates who will be in New York to not only reflect on the HLM outcomes but also discuss the way forward and how advocates will work together and with governments to ensure implementation of commitments and to hold leaders accountable.

Registration is required and space is limited. We request that each CSO organization register no more than two representatives to allow space for as many different organizations to be represented as possible.

This is an in-person event only. A webinar will be held a few days after this side-event for CSOs who will not be in New York  to attend in person. We will share the webinar details via the CSEM listserv.

The event will take place on 22 September 2023, from 3:00-5:00 PM ET at the Scandinavia House. Check-in for participants who have received confirmation of their registration will open at 2:30pm and light snacks and drinks will be available.
