Ferdinant M. Sonyuy is the President & CEO of the Reconciliation and Development Association (RADA), a non-profit organisation with a vision to see individuals live harmoniously and peacefully, harnessing their full potential to support inclusive sustainable development, growth, prosperity, health, and well-being for all. 

Since 2013, he has been pivotal in building coalitions to support NCD Prevention and Control in Cameroon and Africa. He is the current Chair of the Secretariat of the Africa NCDs Network and Secretary General of the Cameroon Civil Society NCD Alliance. Before 2020, he served as the Program Manager for NCDs with the Cameroon Baptist Convention (CBC) Health Services, the second largest healthcare services provider in Cameroon. He currently leads policy advocacy on the promotion of healthy diets through the Front of Package Warning Label and Evidence-based tax on unhealthy sugar-sweetened beverages and unhealthy processed packaged food products. 

Ferdinant holds a bachelor?s degree in Biochemistry from the University of Buea, Cameroon, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Health Promotion from the Public Health Foundation of India. He is completing his Masters in Health Economics, Policy, and Management at the University of Bamenda. He is a One Young World Ambassador, a 2019 US Department of State Community Solutions Program Fellow, a Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) Technical Fellow and a 2023 World Heart Foundation Emerging Leader.
